The Fujifilm Fujinon XF 16-55mm f/2.8 R LM WR II lens is the second generation of the universal zoom lens with a focal length of 24 to 82.5 mm equivalent to Full Frame and a bright constant maximum aperture of f/2.8 for Fujifilm X mirrorless cameras.

The Fujifilm Fujinon XF 16-55mm f/2.8 R LM WR II features an improved optical design optimized to work with Fujifilm's 40.2MP sensor. The optical structure of the lens is 16 elements arranged in 11 groups, one Super ED element with super low dispersion, three with low dispersion and four Aspherical elements for maximum control of chromatic aberrations and high sharpness throughout the range. The front lens of the objective has a fluorine coating for maximum protection against dirt, water splashes or unwanted prints.
Video enthusiasts now have a De-Click button on the aperture ring for precise operation and avoidance of unwanted noise.
