The Fujifilm XF 500mm f/5.6 R LM OIS WR gives you coverage of 762mm Full Frame equivalent. The optical construction of the lens is of 21 elements arranged in 14 groups, five of them are ultra-low dispersion and two are super-low dispersion, which contribute to the low levels of chromatic aberration and distortion, matching the resolution of the 40.2-megapixel sensors from the X series.
The lens is designed for handheld operation with a weight of 1.3 kg and optical stabilization of 5.5 stops, which can work in combination with in-camera IBIS, guaranteeing maximum shake compensation when shooting handheld. For added stability, you have an Arca-Swiss compatible lens heel for mounting on monopods and tripods.
The autofocus linear motor is fast, quiet and precise when focusing. Optimized to work with Fujifilm's Tracking modes for tracking subjects, including factory presets for maximum fast focusing.
The Fujifilm XF 500mm f/5.6 R LM OIS WR works with existing 1.4x and 2x converters that extend the range to 700mm and 1000mm without loss of resolution and image quality.
You have 4 fully programmable buttons on the front of the lens that allow you to customize their functions to your needs.
