The Sennheiser EW 100 G4-845-S is an easy-to-setup, rack-mountable wireless handheld microphone system that delivers high-quality, reliable sound for presenters, speakers, and performers working in business and educational environments, theaters, or music venues.
The EW 100 G4-845-S features a diversity and half-crash receiver housed in a durable metal chassis. The receiver's automatic scan function covers a wide 42 MHz UHF frequency field with 1680 selectable frequencies, searching for a clear and interference-free channel for transmitting the audio signal.
This system includes a handheld transmitter SKM 100 G4-S, equipped with an interchangeable dynamic supercardioid microphone capsule MMD 845, optimized for speech. The handheld transmitter provides up to 8 hours of operation on two AA batteries, has a fixed RF power of 30 mW and a transmission range of up to 100 meters. Up to 12 wireless microphones can operate simultaneously in one space, with the receivers interconnected for quick and easy frequency adjustment in a multi-channel system.
The EW 100 G4-845-S is compatible with previous versions of the Evolution systems. You can combine G4/G3/G2/G1 receivers or bodypack transmitters, handheld and with a microphone included. It is also compatible with the EW 300/500 systems.
The MMD 845 dynamic capsule offers a supercardioid polar pattern that significantly reduces background noise and feedback. The durable, all-metal handheld transmitter includes a mute function and can be locked to prevent accidental changes during performance. For added convenience, the LCD display is backlit and shows essential information, and quick synchronization with the receiver is achieved by pressing the sync button.
The robust metal receiver EM 100 has a high-contrast LCD display and a menu with quick navigation via a dedicated Escape button. The system features 20 fixed frequency banks and up to 12 compatible preset frequencies. To prevent interference, receiver diversity compares the incoming signals of two independent receivers to ensure optimal RF signal quality. For crystal-clear audio, Sennheiser's HDX technology improves the signal-to-noise ratio.
With two RJ10 network ports, the system allows for quick connection of up to 12 receivers and easy frequency tuning for the entire multi-channel set using the Easy Setup feature. You can expand the setup by adding up to 20 receivers.
With interchangeable antennas and the ability to connect up to four EM 100 receivers to one set of external antennas, you can extend the range and increase immunity against interference. Using antennas such as the A 1031-U or A 2003 provides increased range and immunity against interference.
