The Rode Wireless ME Dual wireless microphone is a more budget-friendly version of the extremely popular Rode Wireless GO series of wireless microphones. The Rode Wireless ME Dual is a two-channel system with two transmitters and one receiver that is extremely easy to use and especially suitable for vloggers, influencers and other content creators who need wireless quality audio.
The Rode Wireless ME Dual has a quality microphone built into the transmitter housing and thus does not require the inclusion of an additional one. The microphone is omnidirectional with excellent voice pickup and transmission and a reduced sensitivity mode to avoid distortion at high volume. The transmitter is also equipped with a 3.5 mm TRS input with power supply, which allows the connection of an external microphone if necessary (eg Rode Lavalier GO).
The compact receiver of the Rode Wireless ME Dual allows easy mounting of cameras, smartphones or tablets. It offers 3.5mm TRS and USB C output.
The system has a range of up to 200m in line of sight and provides a reliable signal at shorter distances even in crowded places. The 2.4 GHz connection has 128-bit encryption for optimal security and stability.
The Rode Wireless ME Dual is fully compatible with Rode Connect software, allowing it to be used for a wide variety of purposes, including podcasting and recording. The software allows the simultaneous connection of two systems to one computer, with each transmitter able to operate on a separate channel for two independent audio streams.
The system features clear LED indicators, 3-step control (0, -12 and -24 dB) on the receiver and level control in 3 dB steps from 0 to -30 dB via the mobile app and batteries that provide up to 7 hours of continuous playback work on a full charge in just 2 hours. USB-C ports on the devices allow for power and firmware updates.
