Description

The Blackmagic Design DeckLink 8K Pro G2 capture card is the second generation of the 8K PCIe device, which captures and reproduces bi-directional signal via 4 bi-directional 12G-SDI ports (with up to 64 channels of embedded audio each), one HDMI 2.1 input and one HDMI 2.1 output.

Blackmagic Design 8K Pro G2 supports all 8K, 4K, UHD, HD and SD standards, and the DeckLink SDK allows the configuration of up to 4 video streams in a selected direction, format and frame rate up to DCI 4K60p.

The device supports 8- and 10-bit YUV 4:2:2 as well as 10- and 12-bit RGB 4:4:4 with Rec. 2020 color. The new Blackmagic Design DeckLink 8K Pro G2 capture card supports a frame rate of up to 120 frames per second in 4K and HD, and up to 60 frames per second in 8K.
