Description
The Sigma 24-70mm f/2.8 DG DN II Art is a universal zoom lens with constant aperture throughout the focal length range - from wide-angle to portrait.
Compared to the previous model, the SIGMA 24-70mm F2.8 DG DN II Art features improved resolution throughout the zoom range, an added aperture control ring, and an improved autofocus mechanism with an HLA linear motor. The lens is approximately 7% smaller and 10% lighter than its predecessor.
The optical scheme includes aspherical elements and those with low levels of dispersion (FLD and SLD), which eliminate aberrations and distortions and contribute to clear and sharp images with excellent color rendering. The Super Multi-Layer and Nano Porous coatings take care of reducing unwanted glare.
The linear autofocus motor ensures fast, accurate and silent focusing, and the 11-blade diaphragm provides pleasant defocus.
The body of the Sigma 24-70mm f/2.8 DG DN II Art includes special rubber seals that protect against dust and moisture and allow it to be used even in adverse weather conditions.
