The video coprocessor Atomos Ninja Phone Video Co-Processor is a 10-bit model for smartphones and tablets that allows you to record from professional cameras via HDMI.
Designed for iPhone 15 Pro and 15 Pro Max, Ninja Phone Video Co-Processor allows you to encode an HDMI signal to ProRes or H.265. The encoded video is sent via USB-C output to your iPhone's USB-C input, where its A17 SoC processor decodes the signal and displays it on your iPhone's screen, which features a 2,000,000:1 contrast ratio and supports Dolby Vision, HDR10 and HLG. ProRes-encoded video can be stored on your iPhone as a .mov file and/or simultaneously transcoded to 10-bit H.265 for cloud-based workflows or streaming using iPhone's 5G and Wi-Fi 6E capabilities .
You can use a separate USB-C port to add additional accessories such as microphones and more. Power supply is provided using NP batteries, battery eliminator or USB-C 5V/3A input. When you use one of these power sources Ninja Phone charges your smartphone and all connected accessories ensuring a longer working time.
The Ninja Phone app makes it easy to manage and coordinate both the Ninja Phone Video Co-Processor and your iPhone. It also allows recording in 16:9 landscape or 9:16 portrait mode and is available for iOS and iPadOS.
