Description

The Hoya Variable Density II filter is a premium vario filter with varying degrees of reduction of light passing through it for maximum control over depth of field, frame rate and more.

Variable Density II minimizes the vignetting effect that often occurs with wide-angle lenses and prevents images from being overexposed. When shooting still subjects, it slows down the shutter speed to achieve sharper, sharper images, and when shooting video, it allows you to adjust it to the right value to get natural and smooth-looking motion.

The improved filter design allows you to adjust the degree of light reduction in the range of ND3 to ND400 (1.5 to 9 stops) by turning the front ring. It is also possible to mount an optional lens cap, the size of which must be one larger than that of the filter used.
