A constant aperture of T/2.4 ensures good low-light performance throughout the vario range.
Elements in the optical scheme reduce chromatic aberrations, reflections and ghosting, enabling the recording of 4K to 8K HDR video. Images are natural, with a warm color balance and beautiful skin tones. The eleven blades of the diaphragm provide a soft, pleasant bokeh and soft diffused emission when shooting subjects with a bright glow, and the standard gears and the size of the front diameter allow the use of various cinema-style accessories such as matte boxes, Follow Focus systems and more.
The interchangeable mount (EF and PL) allows the Canon CN-E 20-50mm T/2.4 L FP to be used with a wide range of cinema cameras.
