Description

The Panasonic Lumix S 100mm f/2.8 Macro lens is an ultra-compact mid-telephoto model designed for mirrorless cameras with a full-frame sensor and L-mount.

The newly developed two-phase linear motor suppresses focus breathing and enables near-silent operation, which is a big advantage for shooting high-quality video. In addition to providing high lens performance, this compact motor design significantly reduces the overall size to 73.6 x 82mm . Compared to conventional macro lenses, the Lumix S 100mm f/2.8 Macro is approximately two-thirds shorter and half the size. With a total weight of only 298gr. combined with the LUMIX S5II, the compact and lightweight system can be used with one hand.

The maximum magnification of 1x allows you to capture your subject in real size. Capture realistic images of the delicate beauty of flowers, insect life, fine details on crafts, the texture of food and more. The lens can be used not only for macro photography, but also for a wide range of other applications, such as portrait and landscape photography.

Three aspherical elements, two ultra-low dispersion elements and one low-dispersion element ensure high clarity and sharpness of the image and contribute to the reduction of chromatic and spherical aberrations.

Resistant to both dust and splashes, the Lumix S 100mm f/2.8 can operate in temperatures down to -10°C.
