The Sony Alpha A7R IV mirrorless camera is a continuation of a series of high-quality, full-size sensor cameras featuring impressive photos and video.
This fourth edition of the A7R is equipped with an updated 61MP Exmor R BSI CMOS sensor and an enhanced BIONZ X image processor that deliver impressive results with smooth transitions and a dynamic 15-step range.
The model offers serial shooting with up to 10 frames per second, UHD 4K30p video, Eye AF real-time support and autofocus tracking. The autofocus system is a Hybrid (Fast Hybrid AF) with 567 points.
The large sensitivity range of ISO 100-32000 makes the Sony A7R IV suitable for use in different lighting conditions. In addition, the sensor relies on 5-axis image stabilization, which is effective to minimize the effect of camera shake by up to 5.5 steps.

The body and weight improvements are also significant and the FE 70-200mm F2.8 GM OSS II is approximately 29% lighter than the previous model with a weight of 1045 g, which makes it the world's lightest 200mm bright tele vario lens at the moment.
FE 70-200mm F2.8 GM OSS II provides exceptional image quality with high resolution and sharpness in every part of the frame, regardless of the degree of zoom, even at maximum aperture. Thanks to the two aspherical lens elements, including one XA (highly aspherical) element, precisely manufactured to an accuracy of 0.01 microns, the FE 70-20mm F2.8 GM OSS II effectively limits long-range aberrations to ensure exceptional resolution in each part of the image.
The FE 70-200mm F2.8 GM OSS II also uses two spherical ED (extremely low dispersion) elements and two Super ED spherical elements, which significantly reduce chromatic aberrations without mixing colors in the shadows. For the first time among all lenses in the Alpha system, this lens also uses an ED aspherical element that suppresses both chromatic and spherical aberrations, which are a common problem with other telephoto lenses.

Advanced video recording features
With a constant maximum aperture of f / 2.8, impressive AF characteristics, a variety of control options, stability and reliability, the FE 70-200mm f / 2.8 GM OSS II is the ideal choice for shooting videos. The design of the new lens allows drastically less oscillations in focus when changing the focal length, less focus shift and axis shift when zooming, which achieves minimal unwanted frame shift and minimal variations in viewing angle.
To make it easier to work with video, the FE 70-200mm f / 2.8 GM OSS II uses separate rings to control focus, zoom and aperture, which allows precision for manual operation as well. The aperture adjustment ring has the ability to turn on and off "click" when driving. Manual feedback with linear feedback, developed by Sony, ensures fast focus response with minimal delay and manual control. The included lens hood has an aperture that allows convenient operation with round polarizing filters or variable ND (neutral) filters for more creative freedom.
