The Sony A7R III is a high-performance mirrorless camera that features high resolution and multimedia multifunction. The camera features a full-frame 42.4 MP Exmor® R BSI CMOS sensor and BIONZ X image processor that delivers impressive 10fps burst speed, along with improved autofocus features for faster and more reliable subject tracking . The advanced Fast Hybrid AF system uses a combination of 399 phase-detection points and 425 contrast-detection zones for faster and more accurate focusing in different lighting conditions. Improvements in processing also help to improve image clarity across the entire sensitivity range of ISO 100-32000, which can be further expanded to ISO 50-102400.
In addition to the ability to record striking 4K high definition video through the 5K (15 MP) Oversampling effect, the Sony A7R III has a new HLG (Hybrid Log-Gamma) capture profile that supports instant HD workflow with HDR files and realistic movie footage without the need for color grading.

Thanks to the two aspherical lens elements, including one XA (highly aspherical) element, precisely manufactured to an accuracy of 0.01 microns, the FE 70-20mm F2.8 GM OSS II effectively limits long-range aberrations to ensure exceptional resolution in each part of the image.
The FE 70-200mm F2.8 GM OSS II also uses two spherical ED (extremely low dispersion) elements and two Super ED spherical elements, which significantly reduce chromatic aberrations without mixing colors in the shadows. For the first time among all lenses in the Alpha system, this lens also uses an ED aspherical element that suppresses both chromatic and spherical aberrations, which are a common problem with other telephoto lenses.
