Description

The Canon RF 24-105mm f/2.8 L IS USM Z lens is a versatile zoom model with a relatively large constant maximum aperture and the excellent optical qualities typical of Canon L lenses. This model is the first Canon RF lens to be equipped with an aperture ring diaphragm control. It provides smooth stepless manual aperture control, which is especially suitable for video shooting.



The Canon RF 24-105mm f/2.8 L IS USM Z universal lens offers another novelty, which is indicated by the letter Z in its name. It indicates compatibility with Canon Power Zoom adapters, which mount on the lens body and provide motorized zoom control.

The Canon RF 24-105mm f/2.8 L IS USM Z provides other benefits, including:

  • Nano Ultrasonic type focus motors for fast and precise focusing and a floating focusing system that minimizes "focus breathing".
  • Image stabilization that works in combination with the stabilization of compatible Canon EOS R cameras (Coordinated IS) for up to 8 stops of compensation.
  • Internal focus and zoom, which makes it particularly suitable for working with gimbals and protects it from dust and moisture.
  • A button to lock the diaphragm, to control the stabilization mode and two function buttons that can be used to control various settings.
  • Protection from adverse weather conditions.
