Elegant classic design
The design of the Nikon Zf is a direct reference to the Nikon FM2 camera released in 1982. The body is made of strong magnesium alloy with an elegant finish and high-quality artificial leather. The controllers are precision made from brass.
The new camera is the first full-frame Nikon Z series to be equipped with a removable display. Two memory card slots are available - one each for SD and microSD cards. Switching to black-and-white shooting mode is displayed on one control dial.
24.5MP and EXPEED 7 processor
The Nikon Z f is equipped with a 24.5-megapixel full-frame back-illuminated sensor and EXPEED 7 processor, which is the same as the Nikon Z9 flagship camera. This combination provides fast operation, excellent low-light performance (ISO 100 - 64000 expandable to 50 - 204800), precise and fast focusing, 96MP pixel-shift image recording and much more. etc.
Sensor stabilization is 5-axis and provides 8 steps of compensation (when using Nikon Z lenses).
Fast hybrid autofocus with 3D tracking
The Nikon Zf mirrorless camera uses a hybrid autofocus system with contrast and phase detection points and Deep Learning technology to recognize 9 different types of objects - the same as the Nikon Z8. 3D object tracking is also available, but only in photography mode.
Autofocus has an impressive operating range of -10 to +19 EV.
4K video from 6K
The Nikon Z f records up to 4K60p video with 6K oversampling and 48 KHz, 24 bit Linear PCM audio in MOV video and 48 KHz, 16 bit AAC in MP4 with its built-in stereo microphone. SDR/HLG/N-log are available.
