The Nikon NIKKOR Z 135mm f/1.8 S Plena lens is a revolutionary fixed focal length autofocus telephoto lens designed for mirrorless cameras with full-frame sensors and Z mount.
The optical design consisting of 16 elements in 14 groups ensures constant brightness throughout the image. Dramatically reducing vignetting, the path of light through the lens with minimal refraction is what creates the refined, rounded bokeh that sets the Plena apart. In bright and backlit conditions, ARNEO and Meso Amorphous Coats work against axial and lateral chromatic aberrations to prevent ghosting, reflections and glare and realize improved contrast and sharpness.
Nikon's patented multi-focus system includes two separate AF drive units that are synchronized to provide particularly fast and accurate focusing throughout the zoom range. The system uses dual STM stepper motors that provide precise and quiet autofocus.
