Description
The Canon EOS R50 camera is a compact and lightweight camera weighing less than 400g, including battery and card. The model is designed as a welcome upgrade for vloggers, podcasters and other video content creators who still shoot with a smartphone.
The Canon EOS R50 shoots 4K 30p video with 6K oversampling and Full HD 120p. It can easily be used as a webcam and for live streaming of FHD video at 30 fps and for continuous video recording lasting up to 30 min.
The automatic Close-Up Demos Mode was developed specifically for one-person shooting of product demonstrations, cooking recipes and the like.
The Canon EOS R50 features markers indicating the different ratios for different social media so the shooter can frame as accurately as possible.
Advanced A+ Assist further facilitates operation in automatic shooting mode, and the Dual Pixel CMOS II focus system with 651 areas covering the entire sensor recognizes and precisely tracks subjects such as people, animals and vehicles.
The Canon EOS R50 has a USB-C and micro-HDMI port, an external microphone input, Wi-Fi and Bluetooth connectivity, and via Bluetooth the smartphone can transmit GPS data to the camera for geotagging the shot.
The camera features the latest version of Canon's multi-function accessory shoe and built-in flash.
