Canon has announced that it is working on its mirrorless flagship EOS R3 with an all-new compact BSI fullframe sensor developed by the company (for the first time in Canon EOS cameras), object tracking with Deep Learning technology, autofocus control with the eye, 30 frames in second burst shooting with AF / AE tracking, Dual Pixel CMOS autofocus and eye and head tracking.
So far there is no clarity about the price and date of the first deliveries.
At Canon EOS R3, resources focus on excellent autofocus performance and exceptional speed for capturing fast-moving subjects, as well as the professional ergonomics and durability typical of the Canon EOS 1D series' flagship DSLRs.
The new sensor provides significantly faster reading of information and reduction of the "jelly" defect. The autofocus system inherits technology from the Canon EOS R5 and EOS R6, adding Deep Learning for even better detection and tracking of subjects, even in adverse conditions.
The Canon EOS R3 viewfinder will allow photographers to set the point at which the camera can focus simply by looking at it (Eye Control AF).
The body of the model includes a built-in vertical grip for comfortable shooting in portrait orientation and additional power supply and promises strength, resistance to weathering and dust protection at the level of the highest class DSLR cameras of the brand. This will make the Canon EOS R3 an excellent choice for wildlife photography, sports and other events.

The Canon imagePROGRAF PRO-1000 is part of Canon's series of professional inkjet printers with a maximum A2 copy size of 420mm X 594mm and a maximum resolution of 2400 (horizontal) x 1200 (vertical) dpi.

Superb details and colors
The LUCIA PRO 12-ink printing system delivers photo-quality printing with fine transitions for both color and black-and-white images, and the Chroma Optimizer takes care of the excellent surface and color when printing on glossy papers.
Canon imagePROGRAF PRO-1000 has an optional Matte Black ink to achieve greater depth of black with art papers. With the latest firmware update (v3.010), Canon has also added Baryta paper printing mode, which gives you an even better color finish with exceptional results in darker areas.
Frequent ink changes can disrupt the work process, but 80 ml ink tanks ensure long-lasting operation. In addition, all 12 inks are easily loaded from the front of the printer and are located behind a drop-down cover for even easier access.
Increased usability
The Canon Professional Print & Layout (PPL) accompanying software simplifies the printing process with its intuitive interface and can be used as a standalone application or as a plug-in for Canon Digital Photo Professional, Adobe Photoshop, Lightroom and Photoshop Elements.
With Print Studio Pro, print features come together on one screen for easy control and management of the printing process, including cutting and rotating tools, print settings and live viewing. Professional Print & Layout's advanced user interface also provides a streamlined workflow with a step-by-step printing procedure for smooth production.
The printer body is equipped with a color 3-inch display for monitoring ink levels, print status and more. The connection to the Canon imagePROGRAF PRO-1000 is via USB, Ethernet or wireless via Wi-Fi.
The printer is compatible with Windows, macOS, iOS, Android and Windows Mobile.
