Description
The DJI Mavic 3 Pro drone is DJI's first model with a triple camera - a Hasselblad main camera with a 20MP 4/3 CMOS sensor and a 24mm f/2.8 lens and secondary cameras - with a 48MP 1/1.3" sensor and a 70mm f/2.8 medium telephoto lens and with 12MP with 1/2" sensor and 166mm f/3.4 telephoto lens.
The model is an evolution of the DJI Mavic 3, with the main difference being the addition of a third camera with a 48MP 1/1.3" sensor and a lens in the mid-tele range of 70mm equivalent to a 35mm standard focal length, and the third camera has an improved aperture of the telephoto lens of f/3.4 .
The main camera is a 20MP 4/3" CMOS sensor with legendary Hasselblad optics with a 20mm equivalent focal length and controllable aperture from f/2.8 to f/11. It records up to 5.1K video at 50 frames per second and offers Hasselblad Natural Color Solution (HNCS), D-Log, D-Log M and HLG.
The second camera is equipped with a 48MP 1/1.3" 4K sensor and a 70mm f/2.8 lens with 3x optical zoom, records 4K video at 60 frames per second and supports D-Log M and HLG. It also works in Night Mode, ActiveTrack and Hyperlapse.
The long-focus camera is equipped with a 1/2" CMOS sensor and a 166mm f/3.4 telephoto lens with up to 7x optical zoom. It records 4K video at up to 60 frames per second.
The different cameras allow for more precise close-up and far-off framing, as well as the possibility of a truly dynamic cinematic result.
DJI Mavic 3 Pro provides up to 5.1K 50 fps and up to DCI 4K 120 fps Apple ProRes 422 HQ video with its main camera. The dynamic range of 12.8 stops and the variable aperture of f/2.8 - f/11 give the drone the ability to work in almost any lighting, providing an image with low noise levels. Fast and accurate autofocus combined with an 84° viewing angle help to track objects easily and accurately. To take advantage of these features, DJI uses a number of key technologies in the Mavic 3 Pro, such as flight path, automatic object tracking and performing complex aerial maneuvers. All these actions are guaranteed by the new APAS 5.0 obstacle avoidance system in all directions. In addition, the flight time of up to 43 minutes, the transmission distance of up to 15km and the compact folding design make the platform very good for both novice photographers and professional productions.
The Mavic 3 Pro features a 10-bit D-Log video profile combined with Hasselblad's natural color system. Each sensor pixel is individually calibrated and undergoes image processing and color optimization during shooting. Thanks to the system, you get accurate and natural colors without having to use additional color profiles.
The return-to-home (RTH) system has been upgraded, ensuring the drone returns to its take-off point on every flight. System activation can be done manually or upon signal loss. On its way, the Mavic 3 Pro uses an optimal trajectory, avoiding all obstacles.
The Mavic 3 Pro is designed to provide the most stable position in the air, which helps with long exposure or time-lapse shots.
