The Canon RF 100-300mm f/2.8L IS USM lens is a fast tele-vario model with a constant maximum aperture and relatively low weight, developed for the mirrorless cameras of the Canon EOS R system.

The Canon RF 100-300mm f/2.8L IS USM is equipped with the Dual Nano USM autofocus system with USM and STM focus motors and independently drives two focus groups for extremely fast, precise and near-silent focusing.

Image stabilization that compensates up to 5.5 stops (6 with compatible cameras with stabilization), low weight and improved body ergonomics make the model suitable for handheld shooting.

Canon's all-new RF 100-300mm f/2.8 L IS USM optical scheme features one fluorite and one aspherical element each, and two ultra-low dispersion elements for excellent clarity and distortion-free image sharpness. Air Sphere and Super Spectra optical coatings successfully minimize unwanted glare and "ghosting" even in strong backlight conditions.


The body of the Canon RF 100-300mm f/2.8L IS USM is protected against moisture and dust and is equipped with a programmable control ring, four programmable buttons to control various camera and lens functions, a focus preset trigger button and a collar for a tripod.
