Description
The Sony ZV-E1 vlogging camera is a compact camera with a full-frame sensor and 5-axis image stabilization, specially designed with vloggers in mind.
The model is equipped with a 12.1-megapixel back-illuminated sensor and over 15 stops of dynamic range, an extremely fast BIONZ XR processor, AI-based AF with real-time object recognition and tracking, a built-in 3-capsule microphone with variable directionality and a movable touch sensor display.
The Sony ZV-E1 offers a host of features to make it easier for vloggers and other video content creators: AI Auto Framing, Product Showcase Mode, Quick Refocus Button, Focus Breathing Compensation, Cinematic Vlog Settings, including S -Cinetone for a cinematic look, -Gamut3.Cine/S-Log3 and S-Gamut3/S-Log3, LUTs, refocus and zoom speed settings and much more.
The model captures 4K 10-bit 4:2:2 video at up to 60 fps without pixel binning, and with an expected 2023 update, the frame rate will rise to 120 fps. The vlogging camera supports Long GOP or All Intra compression, intra-frame encoding and XAVC HS format with MPEG-H HEVC/H.265 codec and Flexible ISO function.
5-axis stabilization with optimized algorithms provides up to 5 steps of compensation. The Dynamic Active Mode is approximately 30% more efficient than the Active Mode of previous models and allows for stable shots on the move.
The Sony ZV-E1 vlogging camera can also be used as a high-quality webcam via USB for 4K (2160p) live streaming.
The Creator's Cloud online platform allows quick uploading of videos to the smartphone for social media use. The Creator's App lets you control the camera via smartphone, transfer clips, monitor battery and vlog status, easily update the ZV-E1's firmware, and more.
