Description
The Rode NT1 5th Generation microphone is a dual-connect large-diaphragm condenser model and features both XLR and USB output for direct connection to a computer (Dual Connect technology is patent pending).
The microphone features a gold-plated Rode HF6 one-inch diaphragm capsule, 32-bit floating-point conversion, 192kHz analog-to-digital conversion, a low noise floor of 4dBA, and a powerful processor enabling APHEX processing, including the popular Big Bottom and Aural Exciter vocal effects.
Thanks to the combination of 32-bit floating-point conversion, 192 kHz analog-to-digital conversion, high SPL capability and sensitivity, and a high-pass filter, the Rode NT1 5th Generation microphone delivers an impressive result without noise, distortion and clipping, even at very loud and harsh source sound.
At the same time, the Rode NT1 5th Generation retains the familiar warm and mellow sound of the brand's legendary series with great dynamic range and clarity.
All this makes the new microphone an excellent choice for podcasting, streaming and recording vocals, guitar, piano and even drums.
