The Solid State Logic SSL CONNEX Portable USB Microphone is the result of the brand's 50 years of experience in the field of audio. The specially developed advanced design with 4 microphones ensures high-quality vocal and instrumental transmission for streaming, conferencing and recording purposes.
The SSL CONNEX Portable USB Microphone offers 4 custom capture modes and digital sound processing with a different colored light marker:
Solo (white light) - the mode is optimized for a single sound source. It's suitable for single-presenter calls and streaming and reduces background noise - even in noisy public spaces such as offices, coffee shops and airports.
Group (green light) - mode for multiple sound sources, especially suitable for conference calls with a group of participants in one place or a live stream with multiple presenters. Automatic mixing ensures that all participants are heard clearly while minimizing background noise.
Vocal (purple light) - the mode is optimized for recording a single vocal. Unlike Solo mode, in Vocal mode the SSL CONNEX Portable USB Microphone seamlessly picks up louder sound (singing) by intelligently filtering out unwanted noise and remastering the sound to studio quality.
Music (blue light) - a mode developed for multiple musicians around the microphone. The Solid State Logic SSL CONNEX Portable USB Microphone intelligently varies the sensitivity of each of the four microphones to lower the noise floor and minimize background noise for studio-quality sound.
Immersive - all four modes include an Immersive setting that allows separate control of each of the four microphones to provide different types of surround effects as needed.
The SSL CONNEX Portable USB Microphone provides studio-quality sound processing thanks to the SSL EQ equalizer and dynamic algorithms, as well as enhanced dual-mono, stereo and quad signal.
Functionalities such as Cough Switch and Push-to-Talk are available to temporarily mute and activate the microphone.
The compact and lightweight microphone body features a 1/4"-20 tripod mounting thread and is powered via the USB port. It is compatible with Windows and MacOS.
