The Pentax HD 100mm f/2.8 DFA Macro ED AW has seven special seals to prevent water, moisture and dust from entering. This is the first PENTAX limited series weatherproof lens. Combined with the robust aluminum housing, it can operate in almost any environmental condition.
The optical system of the Pentax HD 100mm f/2.8 DFA Macro ED AW includes one low-dispersion glass ED optical element and two anomalous dispersion glass optical elements that minimize unpleasant purple chromatic aberrations.
The PENTAX SP (Super Protect) coating on the front element of the lens repels dust, water and grease to ensure sharp and clear images.
