Description
The Sony Cinema Line FX30 compact cinema camera is equipped with a 27-megapixel back-illuminated APS-C sensor (Exmor R CMOS) (26MP photo, 20.1MP video). It offers dual base ISO 800/2500 and a wide dynamic range of over 14 stops. The BIONZ XR processor provides realistic gradation and color reproduction.
The Sony FX30 records 10-bit 4:2:2 RAW 4K Super 35 from 6K video at up to 60 fps and outputs 4K 16-bit video to an external recorder via HDMI. There is also the option of shooting at high frame rates - 4K at 120 fps and FullHD at 240 fps.
The Sony FX30's focus system supports Breathing Compensation and Focus Map, Real-time Eye AF for humans and animals, and tracking.
The Sony FX30's magnesium alloy body is sturdy and reliable, and dissipates heat well for longer recording times. It offers the ability to mount various accessories on a standard 1/4"-20 thread and to connect an XLR handle. There are two slots for CFexpress Type A or SD memory cards.
