Description

Sony E 15mm f / 1.4 G is a bright wide angle lens with fixed focal length for Sony APS-C cameras. Despite the high brightness, the model is compact with dimensions of 66.6 x 69.5 mm and weighs 219 g.

The optical scheme of the lens contains three aspherical elements to correct distortion and provides excellent resolution. One ED and Super ED element perfectly corrects chromatic aberrations. The rounded elements of the diaphragm and the large maximum aperture provide a pleasant and smooth defocus.

Autofocus is fast, quiet and precise with excellent subject tracking. "Breathing" when focusing is minimal. With compatible cameras, the Sony E 15mm f / 1.4 G supports focus shift compensation.

The body is equipped with an aperture control ring with two modes - tactile and smooth, a button to hold the focus and a button to switch the focus modes.
