Fujinon XF 150-600mm f / 5.6-8 R LM OIS WR is a super long-focus lens for nature and wildlife photography, which includes moisture and dust protection, optical stabilization and compact size and weight. Take the lens to the farthest adventure and enjoy hand-shooting with it.
Stability and speed
- The autofocus linear motor allows fast and secure silent focusing, which is great not only for photography but also for video. The presence of focus breathing has been drastically reduced thanks to the new autofocus system.
- Solid optical stabilization compensates for up to 5 steps of vibration when shooting, allowing sharp images to be achieved when shooting by hand, especially in low light.
- Quick and reliable autofocus performance thanks to a linear motor system, which also enables smooth and silent focusing performance that benefits both stills and video applications. This focusing system also helps to greatly reduce focus breathing.
- The lens has an internal focus and zoom design, which helps make it easier to balance and operate, especially when mounted on a tripod or gimbal, but also when shooting by hand.
- The controls located on the lens allow quick access to the various focus modes: focal length limiter, AF-ON and AF-L buttons.
Optics and Super long focus design
- The optical structure of the lens includes four Super ED and three ED elements, which drastically reduce chromatic aberrations and provide a high level of sharpness and color accuracy.
- The aperture of f / 5.6-8 allows you to maintain a relatively compact size and weight, allowing the lens to be used easily in the field and when shooting by hand in all scenarios where super brightness is not required.
- The aperture consists of 9 rounded lamellas, which provide a smooth and gentle bokeh when shooting with the aperture open and selected in a suitable background.
- The focal length of 150-600mm (229-914mm equated to 35mm format) allows you to capture a wide range of subjects. Additional compatibility with XF 1.4x and 2x WR teleconverters increases the focal length to an impressive 1828mm equated to 35mm format.
Sustainable design and easy operation
- As a lens that is designed to be used outdoors, it has protection against atmospheric conditions - moisture, dust and cold to -10 °.
- The front element has a florin coating that protects against the accumulation of water drops, greasy stains, dirt or fingerprints.
- The rotating tripod collar has a removable heel, allowing easy operation when shooting from a tripod / monopod or completely removing when shooting by hand.
- The lens hood has a small window for adjusting rotating filters, such as polarizing or variable ND filters.
