Panasonic Lumix G 9mm f / 1.7 Leica DG Summilux ASPH is a wide-angle bright lens designed for the micro 4/3 system. The lens has a minimum distance of less than 10 cm and is suitable for landscape, city scenes, interior shots and shooting with details in the foreground. Whether you're shooting plants, small objects, city shots or everything in between, the lens is capable of both photography and video. In addition, you can count on a smoothly changing aperture, silent autofocus and almost complete lack of "breathing" (focus breathing), which makes Lumix G 9mm f / 1.7 excellent choice for hybrid operation.
The optical design of the lens consists of 12 elements in 9 groups with the inclusion of 2x aspherical, 2x ED, 1x UHR elements that preserve the compact body by reducing aberrations and distortion, minimize color distortion and improve overall color rendering and sharpness from end to end of the frame. The diaphragm consists of 7 rounded slats that help focus close for a nice bokeh.
