The Sony UWP-D27/K33 Bodypack Wireless Microphone Package is a reliable 2-channel wireless lavalier microphone system that delivers uncompromising audio quality and is easy to use and set up.
The Sony UWP-D27 consists of a Sony URX-P41D 2-channel on-camera receiver, two Sony UTX-B40 transmitters with 2 ECM-V1BMP brooch microphones and accessories. The system is backwards compatible with Sony WL-800, UWP series and third generation UWP-D transmitters.
The Sony UWP-D27 offers multiple features such as NFC automatic channel tuning, Auto Gain mode to prevent distortion, High-Gain mode for DSLR and mirrorless cameras, channel memory function for quick switching between 4 transmitters , etc.
The receiver has an external microphone input connector for adding an additional wired microphone, and the 4-channel mixer allows you to control the levels of the microphones (up to 4 pcs.)
Both the transmitter and receiver feature easy-to-read OLED displays. Their fast response gives you accurate real-time information even in bright sunlight.
Unlike traditional analog wireless systems, the UWP-D complements its proven analog UHF transmission technology with its own digital audio processing. Transitional sounds and consonants are reproduced with greater accuracy, resulting in a clear, natural sound that is intelligible and nuanced.
The ECM-V1BMP microphone is optimized to capture clear and intelligible speech. It captures sound from all directions, allowing for a variety of placement options and freedom of movement.

The compact transmitter is light and easy to carry. The locking 3.5mm input connector ensures that your microphone won't come off at a critical moment.
Using the included shoe mount adapter, the receiver easily mounts to your camera while adding minimal weight to the equipment. Cables are included to connect to cameras with 3.5mm or XLR audio inputs.
The Sony UWP-D27 is powered by two AA batteries (alkaline or rechargeable NiMH), which give the transmitter up to 8 hours and the receiver up to 4.5 hours of life. The timer allows accurate reading of the battery operating time to the minute. The transmitter and receiver can also be powered via their USB ports, allowing them to run for many hours on a USB power pack, or indefinitely if you have access to AC.
