The Voigtlander Heliar 40mm f/2.8 Aspherical lens is an ultra-compact standard manual focus model for mirrorless cameras with a Leica M39 mount.

The elements in the optical scheme combine to produce a classic quality image, with sharp details and vivid colors, and the ten-blade diaphragm provides soft and pleasing bokeh.

The body is solid and made entirely of metal.

The manual focus mechanism allows precise work at a distance of 70 cm from the subject.

The included hood protects the front element and helps control flare and halos.
