Canon RF 100-400mm f / 5.6-8 IS USM is a compact, stabilized super telephoto zoom lens for Canon EOS R full-format cameras.
The combination of compact design, low weight and optical stabilization (up to 5.5 steps) with support for Coordinated IS make the model an excellent choice for hand-held telephoto photography.
The Canon RF 100-400mm f / 5.6-8 IS USM optical circuit contains an extremely low dispersion (ULD) element to reduce chromatic aberrations and an aspherical element to control distortion and improve sharpness.
The Nano USM autofocus system uses USM and STM mechanisms to provide fast, accurate and almost silent focusing, suitable for video. When working with a single AF area, the system allows manual focus correction at any time.
The lens is compatible with Canon RF 1.4 and 2x Extender teleconverters.
