Canon RF 16mm f / 2.8 STM is an ultra-wide-angle lens with extremely compact dimensions, developed for full-frame cameras from the Canon EOS R series.
The wide maximum aperture allows trouble-free operation in low light conditions and excellent focus depth control, and the seven rounded elements provide a pleasant defocus. The minimum focusing distance of just 13 cm allows for spectacular close-ups, and the large viewing angle makes the lens a suitable choice for interior, architectural and landscape photography.
Aspherical element provides good sharpness and successfully controls distortion, and Super Spectra coating minimizes glare and ghosts for better contrast and color reproduction.
The body of the Canon RF 16mm f / 2.8 STM is equipped with a control ring that can control various settings - aperture, ISO and exposure compensation. The fast and quiet STM engine provides reliable autofocus and silent operation, which is especially important when shooting video.
