Description
Atomos AtomX CAST is a switch designed specifically for Atomos Ninja V and Ninja V + monitor recorders. The device allows you to turn the monitor-recorder into a fully functional portable multi-camera broadcast studio, allowing you to switch up to 4 HDMI video sources and output the signal to various devices such as an external monitor, recorder, other sweatshirt or computer.
Atomos AtomX CAST attaches to the back of the Atomos Ninja V or Ninja V + and provides 4 HDMI video inputs up to 1080p60. A single picture, picture in picture and 4 segments can be observed on the monitor, as well as logos and graphic layers can be added. The device can output a signal via the HDMI output in Program, Preview, Picture-in-Picture and 4-Up mode. The combination allows simultaneous monitoring and sending a signal to various other devices and is compatible with most live streaming platforms such as Skype, Zoom, Teams and others. A built-in timecode is available.
The sources can be selected via the four buttons for the purpose of the Atomos AtomX CAST or via the monitor's touch screen. There are also four buttons for quick functions. Atomos AtomX CAST is powered by the Atomos Ninja V or Ninja V + adapter and at the same time powers the monitor via the battery slot.
