Description
Tamron 11-20mm f / 2.8 Di III-A RXD is an ultra-wide-angle zoom lens with a large maximum aperture, designed for Sony mirrorless cameras with interchangeable optics with APS-C sensor.
This is the first lens for E-mount cameras with an APS-C matrix with a constant maximum aperture of f / 2.8 in its category, which makes it a favorite for astrophotography, but it is also suitable for architectural and landscape photography. The large maximum aperture ensures trouble-free operation in low light conditions, as well as depth of field control.
The optical circuit of the lens includes an XLD element, two LD elements and two aspherical elements that provide a corrected image with minimal aberrations. The individual elements are treated with Tamron BBAR coating to minimize glare, ghosts and better contrast.
The RXD stepper autofocus motor has a fast and almost silent operation, which makes the Tamron 11-20mm f / 2.8 Di III-A RXD a suitable choice when shooting video.
