The Pentax HD 70-210mm f/4 D FA ED SDM WR lens is a compact and lightweight 4x telephoto zoom lens for DSLR cameras with full-frame sensors and weatherproof construction.
It can also be used with crop sensor cameras, where it provides an equivalent focal length range of 105-315mm.
The optical scheme includes three elements of extra-low dispersion (Extra-low Dispersion) and two elements of anomalous dispersion glass to deliver images with high contrast and edge-to-edge sharpness, while effectively reducing distortion and various aberrations, a d diaphragm composed of nine rounded blades provide a natural, beautiful bokeh effect.
The autofocus motor (SDM) ensures fast, smooth and quiet focusing, and the Quick-Shift Focus System allows the user to immediately switch to manual focus mode after the subject is captured by the camera's focus system.
Multi-layer HD coating improves light transmission, reduces average reflectance in the visible light range by more than 50 percent, minimizing the harmful effects of glare and ghosting.
