The large f/1.2 maximum aperture allows working in low-light conditions and offers very good depth-of-field control for subject isolation using selective focus techniques.
A multi-layer coating is applied to the individual elements in the optical scheme and reduces flare and ghosting for greater contrast and color accuracy, and the 10-blade diaphragm provides soft and pleasing bokeh.
The manual focus design allows for smooth and precise control with a minimum focus distance of 28cm.
