The Nikon Z 7II is the second generation of the popular Nikon Z7 mirrorless full-frame camera. It is a specialized professional model of high resolution sensor of 45.7 megapixels and removed AA filter for better detail and sharpness of images
Retaining the excellent ergonomics of its predecessor, the Nikon Z7 II offers important improvements such as two memory slots (CFexpress Type B / XQD and SD UHS-II), two EXPEED 6 processors, Eye / Animal AF when shooting video, improved accuracy and speed. AF, more photos in a series and a larger buffer, possibility for constant power supply, HLG video output for HDR video, 4K video with 60 fps in crop mode, etc.
Dual EXPEED 6 image processors offer increased buffer performance, a faster continuous shooting speed of 10 frames per second and remarkably reduced viewfinder blackout time.
The updated autofocus now includes eye and face detection for both humans and animals in wide-area AF mode for both stills and video.
Long exposure shooting is now possible up to 900 seconds (15 minutes) without the need for an external remote.
One CFexpress Type B and one SD UHS-II slots offer more flexible file storage options.
A USB Type-C port allows in-camera charging or continuous power on the go for extended shooting time.
The direction of rotation of the focus ring can be switched to suit your needs.
HDR (HLG) mode support on external recording gives instant HDR-compatible video files for instant playback. N-Log is also available for enhanced control during post-production and grading.
The Nikon Z 7II is eligible for an optional ProRes RAW upgrade, allowing the camera to output ProRes RAW footage to a compatible Atomos external recorder. This upgrade provides greater color grading flexibility with the ProRes codec along with the ability to output uncompressed 12-bit raw material via HDMI.
The SnapBridge wireless connection can be used to update the camera's firmware instead of relying on a memory card-based update system.
Updated creative shooting modes include multiple exposure, 20 different picture control settings, and in-camera Timelapse recording. There is also a focus shift mode for recording up to 300 consecutive frames.
The Nikon Z 7II is compatible with the optional MB-N11 Power Battery Pack for extra life and improved control.
