Description

Blackmagic Studio Converter 2 combines 4 bidirectional converters in one housing and converts the input signal via optical cable to SDI for use with video sweatshirts.

When used in conjunction with the Blackmagic Design ATEM Camera Converter, the signal can be sent up to 45 km between the camera and the sweatshirt. Blackmagic Design Studio Converter 2 can connect up to 4 ATEM Camera Converter devices by simultaneously receiving a signal from them and converting it to SDI with 10-bit processing and then sending the signal to the sweatshirt.

The converter supports SD and HD signal from any camera with SDI or HDMI output if ATEM Camera Converter is used.

Blackmagic Studio Converter 2 has a microphone input, headphone jack and speakers that provide talkback audio for communication with operators. The device emulates and tally signals in the SDI stream, which indicates which of the cameras is on air.

If you need to use more than 4 cameras, it is possible to connect several Blackmagic Studio Converter 2. The case has a 1 RU design and built-in ears for mounting in crabs for easy integration into existing configurations.
