Description
Irix 15mm T / 2.6 is an ultra-wide-angle bright lens from the Irix Cine series - lenses designed specifically for cinema and video recording.
Like the other lenses in the series, this model is made of magnesium-aluminum alloy, and the focus and aperture bracelets are also standardized and located in the same places as the other Cine lenses of Irix and are compatible with follow focus systems.
Irix Cine 15mm T / 2.6 allows the installation of filters and other accessories on a thread with a diameter of 86mm, and in addition to standardized for cinematic accessories front diameter of 95mm, it also offers a magnetic system for connecting accessories (MMS).
Its optical circuit contains 15 elements in 11 groups and includes 3 HR, 2 ED and 2 ASP, as the lens is characterized by extremely low levels of geometric distortion and minimal change in the angle of coverage of the frame when focusing (focus breathing). The lens has nine lamellar apertures and a range of light transmission from T1.5 to T22.
The body of the Irix Cine 15mm T / 2.6 is compact and light, while at the same time protected from the weather, and the elements engraved in it are treated with a UV-reactive coating.
The lens is available in Canon EF, Sony E (35mm), micro 4/3 and PL mount, detachable lens hood and heel for added stability.
