The Nikon Monarch HG 10x42 offers powerful 10x magnification in a lightweight and robust magnesium alloy body and excellent end-to-end optical performance thanks to a lens with field compensation system and extremely low dispersion (ED) glass.

The wide field of view allows quick coverage of the entire landscape, and the lens with a field leveling system provides clear and distinct visibility even at the edges of the image by correcting the usual distortions. Extremely low dispersion (ED) glass corrects chromatic aberration by presenting images with excellent contrast and high resolution for natural color reproduction. All lenses and prisms have a high-quality multi-layer coating for higher light transmission, and the roof prism has a dielectric highly reflective multi-layer coating to improve light reflection. This ensures extremely impressive visibility with up to 92% or higher light transmission.
