The sophisticated optical design, featuring three low dispersion elements and two aspherical elements, limits geometric distortions and color variations. The Frog Eye coating pushes water droplets and dust away from the lens of the lens, making it particularly suited for outdoor and adverse use.
The Laowa 15mm f / 2 Zero-D aperture control ring can be released for smooth motion during video shooting and its wide aperture is suitable for astrophotography.
