The Olympus M. Zuiko Digital 12-200mm f/3.5-6.3 ED lens is a 16.7x universal ultrazoom model for mirrorless cameras with an M4/3 matrix.
Three aspherical elements, one Super HR (high refractive index) and two HR elements are included in the optical design to limit spherical aberrations for improved sharpness and reduced distortion. In addition, two Super ED (Extra Low Dispersion) and two ED elements control chromatic aberrations and color fringing for greater clarity and color precision.
The ZERO (Zuiko Extra-Low Reflection Optical) coating controls glare and reflections for maximum clarity, sharpness and contrast.
The focusing system provides fast, precise and quiet autofocus, and the seven-blade diaphragm contributes to nice bokeh
The housing includes seals for protection against dust and moisture and allows operation in adverse climatic conditions and low temperatures.
