The Zoom H3-VR 360 ° features an Ambisonics microphone with four microphone caps that can be used for Ambisonics recording, stereo 3D recording or standard stereo modes, making it suitable for detailed studio instrument and solo playback for sound effects and more. The H3-VR 360 ° supports full surround sound recording with up to 24-bit / 96 kHz, as well as real-time stereo / binaural monitoring and built-in A-to-B conversion, eliminating the need for additional processing. You can even export your Ambisonics recordings as stereo, binaural, or 5.1 audio files using the free Zoom Ambisonics Player software (for Mac and Windows).
The Zoom H3-VR 360 ° is powered by two AA batteries or a USB connection. The bottom of the audio recorder has a 1/4 "-20 threaded hole for mounting to a standard camera stand.
