The cardioid polar pattern naturally reduces room noise by rejecting any audio from the rear of the capsule, and the built-in pop filter minimizes crackling and explosive sounds.
The built-in 3.5mm headphone jack enables zero-latency monitoring.
The Rode Podcaster has a 96 kHz/24-bit converter, so you'll be able to record audio with the same specifications as a professional recording studio.
The microphone works with both Mac and Windows computers. No preamplifier, interface, converters or mixer needed to record your voice - just plug the microphone into your computer's USB port, select it as a device and you're ready to go.
