The 15-element optical design in 12 groups includes aspherical elements to reduce spherical aberrations and distortions for a cleaner, more realistic and sharper image, while two ultra-low dispersion elements and one Super ED element control color fringing and chromatic aberrations for improved color precision and clarity.
Nano GI coating suppresses surface reflections and glare for improved contrast and color rendering when working in bright lighting conditions.
A linear AF motor ensures fast and quiet focusing, and the dust- and weatherproof construction allows operation in adverse weather conditions and temperatures down to -10°C.
