Description
The Rode NTG-1 is a condenser microphone that finds a wide application for audio recording both on the field and in the studio. The microphone has a sturdy, all-metal, lightweight body that is ideal for mounting the camera but still durable enough to withstand serious use.
The supercardioid polar model and the Line Gradient acoustic design effectively minimize sound and noise at the sides of the microphone, while the front of the capsule accurately reproduces the incoming audio signal. The result is greater intelligibility and signal-to-noise ratio when using NTG1 in noisy environments.
In addition to the 20Hz-20kHz frequency band, a high-pass filter at 80Hz is also available, which will prevent the recording of air conditioning or traffic noise.
NTG1 is powered by an external + 48V phantom power source; the output is a standard 3-pin XLR male connector.
