The Glidecam X-20 System professional stabilization system is designed for film and video cameras weighing from 4.5 to 9.1 kg . It allows you to shoot while walking, running or going up and down stairs - without camera instability or shake. The complete system consists of a support arm, vest, sled and V-Mount battery plate. Docking bracket, arm stand and BNC to BNC/RCA video cable included.
The Glidecam X-20 System isolates body movement from the camera by balancing it in a relatively still state, allowing you to create shots with extremely smooth movements.
The support arm consists of 18 precision-machined bearings that create minimal friction and ensure smooth and silent movement. Four titanium springs provide the lifting force of the support arm. Spring tension is adjustable to accommodate different weight cameras. The arm can support a maximum load of 13.6 kg. It can also be configured for left or right handed use.
The sturdy and lightweight sled is designed to hold cameras from 4.5 to 9.1 kg. It consists of a camera balance platform, a 3-axis stabilizer, a dynamic main platform and a telescoping center pole.
The vest distributes the weight of the system over the shoulders, back and hips. It is adjustable to fit operators of different sizes and features EVA foam padding for added comfort. Quick release buckles allow quick and easy on and off.
