The large 70mm to 300mm range can capture a wide range of subjects, from portraits and landscapes to sporting events and nature shots. On crop sensor cameras, 300mm becomes a 450mm super telephoto.
Four aspherical, two ED elements and the Nano AR coating ensure clear and sharp images with high contrast, and the diaphragm with 9 rounded blades - beautiful background bokeh.
The built-in optical SteadyShot image stabilization effectively counteracts shake when shooting handheld, and the advanced linear drive mechanism ensures fast, precise and quiet autofocus.
