Three ultra-low dispersion elements reduce color fringing and chromatic aberration for greater clarity and color accuracy, and the Super EBC coating suppresses flare and halos in bright and backlit conditions.
A linear motor ensures fast, precise and quiet autofocus, and a rounded seven-blade diaphragm provides nice and soft bokeh.
The housing is protected from dust and atmospheric influences and allows operation in adverse climatic conditions and temperatures down to -10°C.
