Description
Rode SmartLav + is a brooch type microphone designed for use with your mobile device that offers high quality sound. The microphone is easily attached using the included clip, as the sensitive condenser capsule captures sound equally on all sides, and a windshield serves to reduce wind noise and voice imperfections.
SmartLav + is equipped with a cable using a TRRS connector to connect to the headphone jack of your smartphone or tablet and record via the RØDE Rec app for iOS / Android or any other audio application of your choice.
Rode SmartLav + is compatible with any audio application that accepts input from the headset connection, but is designed to blend perfectly with the RØDE Rec app for Apple iOS devices. RØDE Rec transforms the user's iOS device into a full-featured audio recorder, with a wide range of settings to suit different recording situations, in addition to professional editing features and the ability to publish directly to SoundCloud and Dropbox directly from within the app.
