Description
Lens Nikon AF-S NIKKOR 70-200mm f / 2.8E FL ED VR
Faster. Lighter. More flexible than ever. The AF-S NIKKOR 70-200mm f / 2.8E FL ED VR will enhance your ability to capture great images in the toughest conditions.
How does it help you improve? You are refining the detail that is essential in this area. Designed to deliver great results, the latest model of this famous lens helps you always be one step ahead.
The combination of better AF tracking and exposure control and VR SPORT mode offers exceptional high-quality burst shooting. The all-new optical design guarantees excellent end-to-end performance. And Nikon's nanocrystalline coating effectively reduces reflections and glare. Its construction is lightweight and robust thanks to the use of a fluorite glass element.
IMPROVE YOUR PROFESSIONALISM: VARIABLE PHONE 2.8 / 2.8
Whether you are shooting sports, live events, news or reports, this FX lens can enhance your performance. The focal length range of 70-200mm (105-300mm when used with Nikon DX format SLR) covers all the basic requirements. The fast f / 2.8 aperture enables exceptional low-light performance and even exposure throughout the magnification range. The closest focusing distance is now just 1.1m and the maximum reproduction factor has been increased from 0.11 to 0.21 times. Photographers working with Nikon's high-resolution image sensors and high-speed D-SLR cameras are ready for anything.
CLEAR, EVEN, FAST: IMPROVED Vibration Reduction (VR)
Keep up with the action without compromising on the sharpness. Nikon's Vibration Reduction (VR) feature lessens the effects of camera shake, allowing you to shoot at up to 4 slower shutter speeds than without VR. Designed to reduce blur caused by camera movement, VR is already activated the moment you press the shutter button halfway, silently. SPORT VR mode provides a more stable image in the viewfinder when shooting extremely fast actions or subjects that move erratically. It also allows frame rates in burst and shutter release times similar to those achieved with VR off (vibration reduction). This lens even detects when a tripod is being used and adjusts accordingly in Normal and SPORT VR modes.
PRECISION FROM THE LENS TO THE PHOTO APPAREL: EXCELLENT AF AFRICATION AND EXPOSURE CONTROL
Designed to be compatible with Nikon's fast, professional D-SLR cameras, this lens responds quickly and accurately to changes in autofocus. You can now reliably track fast-moving subjects, even if they are moving erratically, at any speed, or fast approaching the camera. However, improved AF tracking is not the only advantage. During high-speed burst shooting, the diaphragm's electromagnetic mechanism works in sync with the camera's shutter for quick automatic exposure control and still image uniformity. The actuator blade assembly is integrated into the lens cylinder, allowing smooth and even operation even with high-speed burst shots. And Nikon's Silent Wave Engine (SWM) provides ultra-fast and ultra-low autofocus operation with seamless manual mode priority.
EXCELLENT COMPLETENESS: OPTICAL ACCURACY TO THE FRAME OF THE FRAME
This lens provides outstanding clarity and contrast throughout the frame. Compared to its predecessor, the new lens offers improved end-to-end performance and reduced light attenuation. The new optical design effectively handles color edging and chromatic aberration by controlling distortion in the magnification range. It includes six ED glass elements, a fluorite lens and a high refractive index (HRI) element. And the nanocrystalline coating reduces phantoms and glare to provide greater clarity of images. Thanks to the use of fluorite glass, the lens construction does not detract from the image quality.

IDEAL BALANCED: IMPROVED MANAGEMENT OPPORTUNITIES
When working at the last minute, the details can be crucial. Configurable cylinder buttons, a feature inherited from NIKKOR professional telephoto lenses, make it easy to switch functions with your finger while stabilizing the lens. Zoom and focus ring positions are reversed compared to those of the predecessor for more balanced handling: by moving the zoom ring to the front of the cylinder, which is now right at your fingertips, it's easier to maintain a stable zoom position . The corrugated rubber coating of the lens zoom ring also helps to achieve a firm grip and easier zoom when shooting from a hidden position.
Designed to withstand the heavy duty handling of professionals, every moving part of the lens cylinder is carefully sealed to protect against dust and water droplets. And thanks to the new magnesium alloy lens cylinder and HRI and fluorite elements, this famous lens has never been so light. Additionally, the lens comes with Nikon fluorine coating, which actively repels water, dust and dirt without compromising image quality. The coating is applied to the windshield of the front and rear lens elements, making it easy to clean the glass without damaging its surface. The ball bearings in the tripod sealing ring provide a smooth transition between horizontal and vertical shooting.
